LAS VEGAS — If you’re going to exhibit at the Las Vegas NV Market, you’ve received to be ready for everybody — large & small.. It’s not an exclusive event. It’s received something for everyone.
Las Vegas attracts buyers from all distribution channels — furniture stores, designers, specialty stores of various types, Internet marketers, rug & floor covering stores. (Floor covering stores swell the ranks during years of time such as 2014 when the Surfaces floor covering Expo overlaps the Las Vegas NV Market.
“Business is strong & well ahead for both Atlanta & Las Vegas. Market traffic has doubled, so we can’t complain,” asserted Asha Chaudhary, ceo of Jaipur Rugs.
” I think the rug industry has turned the corner after the recession,”
Chaudhary asserted the company’s biggest category in rugs is in hand tufted constructions, & in that area continues to grow.
“We’ve moreover become more involved with the indoor-outdoor category, with our best-selling line retailing at $200 in 5×8. We see amazing growth possibility in this category,” she added.
Major rug & home exhibitors who are diversifying in to new areas such as home textiles & furniture are especially optimistic about 2014. “We had a very strong 2013 & 2014 is getting off to a amazing start in both rugs & home accents,” commented Reza Momeni, president of Momeni.
Stephen Hoberman, national sales manager for Momeni, noted in that sales are growing across the product spectrum. “Surprisingly, we sold more one-of-a-kind rugs than ever before, & everyone is looking for accessories. And our biggest growth is coming from our indoor-outdoor rugs. It’s an outst anding category for us.”
Lee Harounian, a principal of Harounian Rugs International, asserted the company has introduced at least 12 new collections geared specifically to the West Coast, These rugs emphasize transitional & modern designs.. “Buyers respond to these right away,” he said.
Harounian noted in that one of the reasons the Las Vegas NV Market was so strong this year was the fact in that the World Market owners have successfully filled all the building to near-capacity. “This makes the market more absorbing for retailers to shop & gives exhibitors the possibility to meet prospective new customers,” he said.
“Busines is acceptable & it’s getting better, We are getting real traction after the recession,” he said.
“We see the optimism on the part of the buyers,” asserted Kami Navid, president of Jaunty. “They are building momentum for the rest of the year & they are willing to invest in quality products,” he said.
“We have limited distribution & we deliver on time. We moreover do not sell products online. Our customers feel protected when they do business with us,” he emphasized. “We don’t want to be all things to all retailers. We have our niche.”
