India’s retail and home fashion industry will see a major boost in design innovation and fabric qualities as the world’s most renowned trade fairs for Interior Décor and Home Furnishing – Ambiente India & Heimtextil India - make their debut in the nation’s capital this year. Scheduled from 19 – 21 June, 2014, the events come at a perfect time when architects, interior designers, retailers and buying houses will be planning their pre-festive retailing for the year 2014-15.
More than 150 brands from India, Turkey, Germany and Sri Lanka will be showcasing their newest home furnishing, fabrics, interior décor and home fashion products at the fairs. Manish Arora returns with yet another line of stunningly designed bed and bath range for Portico New York which will be showcased at Heimtextil India. Designers Gopendra Singh, Malavika singh and Aditi Sharma will display an unconventional set of products by Gomaads where an ordinary material always associated with architectural structures is now being used to create décor objects. Designer Vidushi Agarwal will showcase a fascinating mix of lifestyle products designed for LTS international at Ambiente India. A designer rug collection by Cuban artist and designer Lourdes "Luli" Sanchez inspired by the watercolor artist's portfolio of works will make its debut in the Indian market through Jaipur Rugs at Ambiente India.
Top names in the home furnishing space have joined hands for the launch of these world-renowned fairs in India, with D'Decor Home Fabrics Pvt Ltd participating as Platinum partner and Dicitex Furnishings Ltd. & Punikim Textiles Pvt Ltd (Dimora) as Gold partners for Heimtextil India. Leading industry players like Reliance Industries Ltd, Birla Century, Indian Drape Pvt. Ltd., Jade Exports, Winners IPL, Borosil Glass Works Ltd, Princeware International Pvt. Ltd., Opal Clocks, Linc Writing Aids Pvt. Ltd., Asian Handicrafts Pvt. Ltd. have also confirmed participation and intend to showcase their latest collections during these fairs.
A one-day South Asia Digital Textile conference is scheduled on 20th June, 2014 alongside the shows. Raj Manek, Managing Director, Messe Frankfurt Trade Fairs India Pvt.
