Atlanta -- Jaipur has forged a licensing partnership with artist and designer Lourdes "Luli" Sanchez to develop a new line of area rugs inspired by the watercolor artist's portfolio of works.
Sanchez's paintings have been purchased and used by the likes of Kate Spade, Anthropologie, Tory Burch and many more, noted Jaipur.
"We are in love with Luli's work, it's fun, vibrant and brings a fresh take on typical rug design," said Asha Chaudhary, Jaipur's president and ceo. "I'm thrilled to showcase her work in the new medium and know that designers and buyers alike are ready for this kind of freshness to pattern."
Jaipur is also showcasing a few hundred new designs in rugs, pillows and poufs as a prelaunch to their next catalog.
The launch is set for this week during the Atlanta International Area Rug Market at the company's showroom at the AmericasMart in space 3-C-15.
