JDALLAS - ARTS Awards finalists in categories including accent furniture and area rugs have been announced by Dallas Market Center and the Accessories Resource Team.
The annual awards will be presented here Jan. 16 at a ceremony during the Dallas Total Home & Gift Market, which runs Jan. 13-19. Manufacturers, designers and retailers in a number of accessories categories also are recognized.
In accent furniture, the nominees are Bailey Street, Guildmaster, Palecek and Vintage. In the rug category, Jaipur Rugs, Loloi Rugs and Surya are vying for the prize.
In the product designer category, finalists are David Daugherty of Vintage, J. Michael Sandel of Guildmaster, Jason Phillips of The Phillips Collection, Maria Hoo of Roma and Palmer Earley of Architects & Heroes Interiors.
ARTS also has a furniture store category, with finalists named by region. They are Albert's Interiors, Newtown Square, Pa., and Sedlak Interiors, Solon, Ohio, in the East/Atlantic; High Fashion Home, Houston; HW Home, Boulder, Colo.; and The Arrangement, Dallas, in the Midwest/Southwest; and two California stores, Homescapes Carmel of Carmel and von Hemert Interiors of Costa Mesa in the West.
